OVERVIEW : - English department of the college commenced in 1970, the founder principal prof. j. Prakash being the head of the department. Since then it has the tradition of excellence in education.
Chhindwara is a backward area where most of the students offering English literature do not have their English up to the mark. The department puts additional efforts to improve their language through remedial classes or extra coaching classes by the faculty. Thus such students are helped by the faculty to cope up with English literature keeping in view the fact that English can enhance their job opportunity. We try to build student friendly atmosphere and promote the students to ask questions. we also endeavour to cultivate moral values in students while teaching learning process.
